Delaying CYLAW for a “greater need”

So I’ve been busy creating my new personal development site, ChangeYourLifeAtWill.com, and I realized that writing the content for the site is taking WAY longer than expected.  So long, in fact, that it’s delaying me doing some more pressing issues that need to be taken care of.

I need to setup a new campaign for the Reverse Funnel System, and take care of my optin page and autoresponder messages.  I figured its more important to monetize your CURRENT websites rather than spreading yourself too thin and trying to market everything under the sun.

RFS is doing great, and the best part - it’s automated…  So it’s giving me some more free time to, well, get distracted with other crap!  If you’re in mlm and you’re marketing a high ticket item, trust me, just keep doing what you’re doing!  I was literally going to throw away $10K by not staying on track w/ my RFS goals and instead make $2K in other commissions (affiliate and other sales)…  Make the MAIN GOAL the MAIN GOAL!  Make sense?  Hope this helps.

The REAL Reason Why the Giants Won…

Filed under: Inspiration, Adam Holland, Recreation, Work Ethic, Personal Development — Adam Holland @ 9:11 am

It takes more than talent to win the biggest game of the year…

Living in NY and following the Giants through out the season (their training camp is even in Albany :-)  ) I got to see the events unfold 1 week at a time…

The REAL reason the Giants won isn’t just because they decided to pull together and work as a team… it wasn’t just their talent or a little luck…

Like Strahan said in the post-game, it’s all about confidence…  <———

The week that the team stopped talking about how it was this persons fault or that person’s… if Coughlin was a good enough coach, and if Eli had a leadership problem…

The moment that they began to UPLIFT and ENCOURAGE each other is the REAL moment they became Champions…  When they began to SPEAK the right words… THAT is when things started to come together…

They fed off of each other’s enthusiasm and confidence, and that confidence carried them through the biggest games of their lives…

REMEMBER TO UPLIFT AND ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER!

IT DOESN’T MATTER IF IT’S IN SPORTS, IN BUSINESS, IN RELATIONSHIPS!!

YOU CAN CREATE THAT MOMENTUM OF POSITIVITY IN YOUR OWN LIFE  BY ENCOURAGING OTHERS!

DON’T FORGET TO PAY IT FORWARD!!!

Change Your Life At Will Video and Video Marketing Techniques

So, I’ve been brainstorming an idea to make another site… I’m not going to give you the details, but I will be posting some self-help, motivational, and inspirational stories and opinions on it… Here’s the first video…

When you put videos on your website you are must more personable with your prospective clients and business partners… You’re telling them with your own words and (even more importantly) “face-to-face”… and this helps you build (more…)

Home Based Business Training Added

I recently added a new FREE 7 day training that you can sign up for on my main page.  This is NOT the same as my Explode My Business Free 7 Day Boot Camp Training…  The ‘EMB’ training is marketing-based (driving traffic, autoresponders, etc) and the Home Based Business training is a little more broad…

Meaning, it’s more of a ‘how to get started working from home’ handbook…  (not to be replaced with my new ebook…)

I needed to blog about this new training because it is NOT for the faint of heart…   If you want some inspirational, (more…)

Giants in the NFC Championship???

Filed under: Adam Holland, Work Ethic, Personal Development — Adam Holland @ 11:51 am

I just can’t believe the Giants beat the Cowboys yesterday… I try not to blog about too much other than business, so I’ll get to the point in a minute.

The Giants this season haven’t been the dominant force of the NFC, but they sure have been persistent.  And it’s that persistence that’s landed them in the NFC Championship…  The entire season, Giants and critics alike have never really considered the Giants a Superbowl contender.  Eli Manning came under criticism from teammates and others about his lack of leadership, but his decent performance in yesterday’s game still got them a win…

It’s this same persistence we have to have as entrepreneurs…  We will take criticism, we’ll have failure, and we’ll work our butts off and still might come up short in the end…  But it is the persistence and consistence that will ultimately bring us across the finish line…

Go Giants!   And I can’t wait until next week against the Packers!!  It’ll be a great game…

Thought-Awareness

Filed under: Inspiration, Adam Holland, Work Ethic, Personal Development — Adam Holland @ 9:23 pm

I used to be a lazy s-o-b. Uber-lazy. Until I finally realized that I needed to make some serious changes in my life, or things would just keep going the same way they were all the years before… I realized that I needed to discipline myself. I needed to be thinking and, more importantly, I needed to be aware that I was thinking.

What does that mean? Well, there are very few things in this world that you can control, but one of them is your thoughts. If something bad happens to you, and you get pissed off… you need to realize that your temper temporarily controlled you… your thought process was NOT in control. If something bad happens to you, and you recognize you have a CHOICE to how you respond… then you are aware of your thoughts. And you can control what you say and do.

If you want to control your bank account, family life, career, and your entire future… you must first take control of your own thoughts. Stay positive and enthusiastic, and start working diligently towards your goals.

Fear and Action

Filed under: Personal Development — Adam Holland @ 9:28 pm

I was rereading The Magic of Thinking Big recently. If you are a business owner, salesperson, or aspiring executive and haven’t read this book, go get a copy asap.

There’s a chapter about overcoming fear by taking action. The quote is, “Action cures fear.” How true it is, as long as it’s the right action.

If you’re afraid of swimming, I don’t think the answer is to just jump in the deep end and ‘figure it out.’ (more…)

Attitude

Filed under: Inspiration, Personal Development — Adam Holland @ 9:27 pm

When you hear the good ol’ saying, “Attitude is Altitude” or “Attitude is Everything” or any of those clichés, do you really take them seriously? I sure didn’t. Just saying some phrase you’ve heard from some guru didn’t lend me any insight into where my attitude was at.

What made the difference to me was when I realized that I needed to be aware of my attitude at all times. When I got a flat tire, when I pulled a muscle, when I spilled a drink, when anything didn’t go the way I wanted it to… I would throw a temper-tantrum just like a little kid. Maybe not out in the (more…)

What is Your Purpose?

Filed under: Inspiration, Adam Holland, Personal Development — Adam Holland @ 8:51 pm

I’ve written a lot of blogs about having the right attitude, overcoming fear, and a lot of other self development topics. I haven’t really touched on this topic all to much, but it does have a few things to do with having a clear vision.

When you have a clear vision of what your future is going to be, you can overcome the obstacles and overcome your fears. But what is your true purpose here on this earth?

Is it your purpose to struggle to pay the bills every month? Is it your purpose to have a marriage filled (more…)

Desire

Filed under: Inspiration, Adam Holland, Personal Development — Adam Holland @ 8:47 pm

Desire: to long for; crave; want. The feeling that accompanies an unsatisfied state.

These were just some of the definitions I found online. And I really like that last part: The feeling that accompanies an unsatisfied state.

I never really though of desire that way, but it’s true. If you desire living somewhere other than where you live right now, it’s because you’re unsatisfied with your current situation. If you want a new car, it’s probably because of a dislike for the one you drive now.

It’s interesting, though, how we hear so many people complain over these things and don’t do anything (more…)
