Network marketing is becoming more and more mainstream every year.  Now many network marketing companies are being either endorsed or founded by celebrities.  Many companies are setting sales records while others are begging the government for bailout money.  Hordes of people are searching the internet looking for an opportunity, and now they only need to figure out what network marketing company to join.

Here’s three BIG reasons why people are flocking into the network marketing industry: Read More→

Economy got you by the *@$^?  Looking for a home based business?  Well here’s what you need to consider when choosing a home based business opportunity:

1.) Startup cost – what is your budget?  Sure, you can probably make a ton of money with a high ticket program, but can you afford it?  Make sure that you’ve got the budget for startup costs AND advertising for your first 2 months or so.

2.) High value product or service.  I’ve been approached by so many people that are peddling some ebook or free software business with 100% commissions.  Or maybe you’re looking at a “cash gifting program”.  Let’s be serious for a minute: can you tell me that cash exchanging hands with no product involved is a true business?  Okay then, moving on…  Make sure that the product is in demand.  What percentage of people use it?  Is there even a small niche market for that home based business?

3.) Mentorship.  For instance, my team has some tremendous online marketing training available.  But without personal coaching, you’re dead in the water.  Make sure that your sponsor has the EXPERIENCE and the TIME available to help YOU get your business off the ground.

Buckle your seat belts, because you’re in for one HELL of a ride…

Jonathan Budd has done it again.  FINALLY, new online network marketers don’t have to deal with the CRAP I had to deal with when trying to monetize their sales funnel.

Picture this… this is how you want the “flow” of your sales funnel to go…

1.) Person visits your site and enters their info into a form to get more info, a report, a newsletter, etc…

2.) Now that person is on your LIST (remember that ‘L’  word!.. LIST) and you can market to them until the end of time.

3.) They are now brought through a sales process where they’re given the opportunity to purchase a low-cost but HIGH VALUE product or service.  From there, over time as they get more and more value from your email messages, many of those people will upgrade to more products and services… or other products are services that will compliment the others, or what have you…

4.) Some of those people will probably even join your business (don’t count on a bunch, but SOME WILL!!)

Point being, this allows you to make tons of money off the people that DON’T even get in your business.  Now you’re not digging a hole of debts to pay for your marketing… You’re paying for it in REAL TIME, getting cash as you need it to reinvest in your marketing and business building expenses…

I’ve been in the network marketing industry for about 5 years now.  I’ve seen some companies come and go, and I’ve seen their reps jump from company to company in hopes of finding the “next big thing”.  Is Ambit Energy it?  Is Ambit Energy a scam, or is it the real deal?

Well, for me at least, I’m going to pass.  I’ve met alot of people and developed a nice rolodex (especially in the last year or so) in this industry.   And after this company launched, I got about 20 calls from people asking me to join their downline.  Some calls were from people that knew of my online mlm lead generation system.  Some were even people that were in my downline before and QUIT!  I even had someone that I showed mlm to my first month in the industry, and all they could say was “oh, that’s a pyramid…” and BAM!!!  Five years later and they want me in their downline.

Well, I’m a firm believer in mentorship and giving to people straight.  Ambit is very similar to ACN (communications mlm) in that you make up to a few hundred dollars when someone signs up, but you make virtually NOTHING on the back end.  According to their website, it’s about $0.25 to $1.00 per customer per month.  I’d need to have 10,000 customers in my business just to be able to make a six figure income…  BLAH!

Ambit reps: you can sell the “residual income” pitch to your prospects, but be realistic with them.  Don’t tell them they’ll get rich off of the residuals.  Make sure they understand that they’ll need to sponsor over a dozen people per month to make a living!  And then have to sponsor a small country to make a living off of the residuals.  Make sense?

This is why many people in mlm have turned to “GPT” which stands for Get Paid Today.  And there’s dozens of other companies that you can make MORE than a few hundred dollars when you signup someone.

Ambit Energy is NOT a scam… but there are sure alot better network marketing companies to team up with.

That’s my 2 cents.

First, let me start out by saying I have NOTHING against Angelo Nardone.  From the times I’ve spoken with him and seen him speak, he’s been very kind and sincere.  Some of his talks have been very inspirational and heartfelt.  HOWEVER, there’s a big problem with Amway/Quixtar.

It’s been a known problem over the years – Amway’s comp plan is terrible (go ahead and compare it with other mlm Read More→

I truly love Starbucks.  I really don’t care if it’s $4 for a cup of coffee.  The atmosphere helps me work, it helps me get out of my house, and it allows me to FOCUS on my business.

Luckily most of what I do now is on my laptop.  But I still see alot of traditional network marketers coming in to Starbucks to meet their prospects.  Maybe it’s for the WiFi (Panera Bread is another big MLM hangout) but whatever.

It still gives me a chance to “spy” on other mlmers.  I get to see how I used to grow my business (before I learned about online mlm lead generation) and how to attract my prospects TO ME.  But I also get to meet all sorts of people in different Read More→

Okay. Let’s not beat around the bush. Internet marketers have been making a full time income using Craigslist for a while now. And now network marketers are finding out that it’s a great place to generate a ton of hot leads.

Nowadays CL has a lot in place to stop “spamming” marketers. You need to use phone verified accounts, auto-posting software, an ISP where you can change your IP address frequently, and randomize every bit of your ads. It’s a BIG PROJECT.

Here’s my fundamentals when setting up a brand new Craigslist marketing campaign.

1.) Posting in the small biz ads section should minimize the chances of your ad getting flagged, as biz opps can be listed there.

2.) Use a wireless aircard to change your IP address (I change it after EVERY post…)

3.) Use redirects to cloak your images and links. All of my small biz ads include 2 things and 2 things ONLY. A clickable image and (see #4)

4.) Use random hidden text. Most autoposters have some form of this built in. It becomes “hidden” when the color of the text is so close to white that it’s almost unnoticeable.

5.) Randomize your headlines with what’s called “tags” or “tokens”, depending on what softwhere you’re using. A “tag” is a phrase that you use in your ads that will randomly substitute another phrase in the text. It’s a simple way to make your ads more random.

6.) Use phone verified accounts. They can be purchased online for around $4-$6 a piece (generally). You CAN create them yourself, but it’s extremely time consuming so I recommend buying them instead.

When you start to learn these fundamentals, and then build upon them… you’ll be able to generate TONS of leads using Craigslist.

I just got word of a new “system” developed by the Amway team Britt Worldwide (BWW).  It’s called IBO Webspace.  It allows Amway/Quixtar IBOs to use a website with video to show the plan, follow up, and get other reps started in their downline.

All I have to say is, “Wow.  And you think this is innovative?”

Other companies have been using this technology for around a decade… which is one of the many reasons why Amway’s volume has been stagnant for the last 5 years or so and relatively new companies are able to match and surpass their annual revenue so quickly.

Without going in to a huge debate (because, honestly, I love the products and the people) we need to take a look at one important fact: Amway does NOT allow the marketing/advertising of their opportunity.

This makes the new IBO Webspace a ‘ferrari trying to run on regular unleaded fuel’…

The system looks GREAT graphically…  people don’t have to ’show the plan’ and they can use technology to automate some of the “grunt work” of building a mlm company.

But if Amway aloud their reps to actually do online mlm lead generation, you would see an IMMENSE change in their sponsoring… If anything they’d have a 3-5% growth year instead of ZERO…

Now, if you’re ready to learn about how to automate 95% of your mlm business so you can MULTIPLY your income, check out: Explode-My-Business.com.

So here’s the story…  My upline Emerald (of course when I was still with Quixtar) got in Amway in the mid-90s.  After the business transitioned to Quixtar, his entire downline quit…  He was an “Emerald” with FIVE platinum legs (right on the verge of Diamondship) who fell back to a ONE-LEGGED platinumship under him w/ some side volume outside of that leg.

After 5 years, he re-qualified Emerald and 2 years later he qualified Founders Emerald.  Another 2 years and he FINALLY qualified Diamond.  And not to demean what he did, but why are they still quoting 2-5 years until Diamond?  It’s TOTAL bullcrap.  Sorry.

And now they may be repeating history w/ the name changing BACK to Amway.  Good God… Read More→
