Blastoff Network – Another Scam or the Real Deal?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m not one to write long and drawn out reviews on the latest network marketing companies, so I’ll keep my review on Blastoff Network as brief as possible.
First, let me just say that this is NOTHING new! Amway/Quixtar has had this same “universal online shopping mall with multi-level payouts” concept for a while. Then other companies such as “My Power Mall” and “(crap there was another one, but I can’t remember..”) rolled out their versions. It’s a great concept too: “If I’m going to spend the money anyway, might as well get paid a bonus back on it, right!?”
And then comes the realization: if you’re going to purchase from the 3rd party story (Best Buy, Target, etc) through the shopping “gateway” (in this case Blastoff) there isn’t going to be much of a margin that you save. Usually payouts to “regular” online affiliates is 1-3%. Not bad, better than nothing right?! But now split that with 20 people in a downline?? Everyone’s fighting over 2 cents!?
Cutting to the chase – buying stuff from the 3rd party companies is NOT worth it. Instead of having the product when you need it (NOW), you’re paying extra for shipping (some of the time it’ll be free) only to get 2 cents back on the product. THAT is a waste.
Most companies that work this way have to have their own product line (Amway’s energy drinks, toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent, etc…) with a bigger profit margin so you can make more money. Now instead of cutting up 1-3% into small little bits, you’ve got more like 10-30% to work with – depending on the company/product/etc. But now you’ve got to get people to stop buying Crest and start buying “Blastoff toothpaste” or whatever. Again, good concept – but it’s not as easy as they describe.
The worst thing with these companies is you need to recruit a small country in order to make any REAL money with it. And it takes you between 5-20 years to do it ( :: cough -JOB- cough:: ).
Don’t get me wrong: I’m NOT against MLM! I’m not against Blastoff or Amway or whatever company. But you’ve got to understand that the fortunes are being made in more Direct Sales (or what many people call “GPT: Get Paid Today”)-type comp plans where you’re paid MUCH more early on in your business.
Example: when someone joins my primary business opportunity, I get paid $1000. And when they sponsor someone I get paid $1000. Do the math. How many people do I need to sponsor to make $5k/mo, and how big does your mlm business need to be to make that? Usually it’s the difference between 5 people and 150 people. Make sense?
Either way, I’m not here to sell you on a business – Blastoff Network or otherwise. What you 100% need to realize is that without LEADS, your mlm business is going nowhere.
To find out how I’ve sponsored as many as 81 people in 4 months and made over $22k in a single month – all on AUTOPILOT – check out my free training resource: Explode My Business FREE 7 Day Bootcamp. Enjoy!
MLM Sucks – The REAL MLM Scheme
Posted by: | CommentsMulti-level Marketing (MLM) as an industry has been debated over for several decades now. Some say MLM sucks, some say mlm is a scheme. Others say it’s a great way for the average Joe to make money…
And we could go over all of the stats about how 98%-99% of all people that signup in an MLM will never make money. We could talk about the Amway tools ripoff or how Monavie sells overpriced bottles of juice (neither of these things are my opinion, by the way… It’s just the crap all over the internet that gets debated).
Let’s put all of that stuff to the side for a moment and hone in on this one personal experience of mine that totally sums up MY “truth about MLM”… I’m talking about the secret that all of the big pins and heavy hitters won’t talk about.
One of my mentors mentioned this to me as to why he STOPPED growing his MLM business all together and started focusing on Direct Sales/GPT/Get-Paid-Today opportunities and passive income streams.
He said it was because he got tired of “babysitting adult children”.
Woah! That phrase hit me upside the head like a two-by-four. Babysitting adult children?
But he was right. You see, I didn’t believe him until I started growing a downline of several hundred people. Instead of spending most of your time golfing and on the beach like they show you in the lifestyle videos, you’re spending 8-10 hours a day coaching people, doing 3-way calls, training webinars, creating your own systems, and MANAGING all of it. It just becomes a better paying J-O-B, and you get the opportunity to call yourself a “business owner”… woopidy-doo!
You see, when the “price of entry” into your business is $50-$200, you’re going to sponsor a BUNCH of broke people with broke mentalities. That’s not to say you’ll get some sharp people too. But MLMs stay in business not because of the 100 leaders buying the products. The stay in business off of the thousands of SHEEP attending their hotel meetings, quarterly functions, and team meetings. Yea, I said it: SHEEP.
I know – I was one of them.
I was herded around for YEARS because I really didn’t have the GUTS to take the actions to build my business. See, I’m honest
I was an “adult child”. A big baby.
The REAL problem, though, was that I just had no want to take those actions. I didn’t want to face that REJECTION that I got when I tried to get a phone number from someone I had just met at the mall so I could pitch them on my business later. I wasted SOOO much time “pretending” to build my business because I just hated talking to total strangers and get them excited about my business opportunity. Especially because they just weren’t the people I should have been talking to anyways.
Then, something happened. I came across some information that totally changed my life.
I figured out how people were actually getting calls from people that they had never met, and these people were BEGGING to become part of a business opportunity.
Yep, instead of wasting time at the malls you can actually attract people TO YOU.
In the last few months alone, I’ve been able to create over 700 leads for my business without leaving my house. In addition to that, my leads have PAID ME to be my leads! I’ve grown my business and created over $20,000 in profits over the past 2 months. This is WAY different than MLM.

World Ventures Buys Out Success University?
Posted by: | CommentsExcuse me, but what the hell? When I got registered with Success University it was because I valued the product and appreciated the concept of their business plan.
And now SU has “merged” with World Ventures? Now, it seems by Matt Morris’ letter to the company that it seems like SU was being bought out by World Ventures. They’re “merging” the compensation plans, and everyone who started with SU won’t see any additional monthly fees.
So I guess there’s one plus… And making more money is certainly a plus… HOWEVER…
Matt Morris states in his letter that the travel industry is the LARGEST industry in the world. Well, Matt I totally agree with you… But World Ventures may not have been the best company to choose.
You see, I shared Matt’s same excitement for the travel industry. I looked over several companies and decided which one to go with. And it was NOT World Ventures. Sorry. And definitely NOT YTB either.
(Good thing because YTB’s in some legal trouble in California w/ the Attorney General right now.. hmmm.)
So, now the company I thought I was promoting as a personal development company is losing the branding I was associating myself with, and I’d be in direct competition with my Global Resorts Network business.
This may be good news for SU reps, but not really good news for me..
Thoughts?
1-2-3 Power System Review – Scam? Is Brad Weinman for Real?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m an avid internet marketer, and I’ve seen probably 100 “programs” in the past year… And when I saw the 1-2-3 Power System I simply passed right on over it and “threw it on the pile” of the other home based business opportunities I’d checked out.
And boy did that come back to bite me in the (you know what)!
I started looking in to the system more when I heard about the direct mail training. You see, I know pretty much all there is to know when it comes to internet marketing – and what I don’t know I can just pay someone else to do for me, no big deal. (Heck – I even have my own online network marketing bootcamp and course for God’s sake!)
But when it comes to offline marketing, I’m a clean slate.
Then I started getting feedback from other people on their postcard mailing campaigns. Put simply, they’re basically doubling whatever they spend on their ads. You spend $200 on postcards, you’ll get $400 back in orders. You spend $2000, you’ll get back $4000. Of course, like with any marketing, there are no guarantees… Could me more, could be a bit less. But hearing from several sources, they’ve all never lost money on their direct mail ads. Period.
Hmmm. I was intrigued.
So, I bought the system. I should be getting it in the mail in the next week or so. When I do, I’ll give you more detailing info on what’s included.
In the meantime, I logged in to the back office to check out more info on direct mail and other marketing techniques their team is using. And that’s when I noticed Brad Weinman’s name. Now, I don’t know if this is specific to just his team (which I’m sure I’m on if I got access) or the entire 1-2-3 Power System Team… but Brad knows his stuff.
He’s been an internet marketer and “attraction marketing” guru for quite a while. I trust his choice in programs, so I know I picked a good one.
As I start my own marketing, I’ll bring you up to date on what works… what doesn’t… And what’s going on behind the scenes with the 1-2-3 Power System.

Britt World Wide Review – New Youtube Playlist
Posted by: | CommentsIf you’re looking for a brutally honest review of Britt World Wide (BWW) (which is an Amway Global/Quixtar Training System) I made a video review and posted it on Youtube.
The video was supposed to be 15-20 minutes and separated out into 2 separate videos… About 45 minutes later, I had realized that I had given you a totally open and honest idea of what kind of money you can spend trying to build an Amway business and why so many people lose money in network marketing in general. To give some comparative analysis, I compared BWW to Success University – which is an online personal development program comparative to what BWW is ‘trying’ to accomplish.
Enjoy!

3 Tips When Considering a Home Based Business
Posted by: | CommentsEconomy got you by the *@$^? Looking for a home based business? Well here’s what you need to consider when choosing a home based business opportunity:
1.) Startup cost – what is your budget? Sure, you can probably make a ton of money with a high ticket program, but can you afford it? Make sure that you’ve got the budget for startup costs AND advertising for your first 2 months or so.
2.) High value product or service. I’ve been approached by so many people that are peddling some ebook or free software business with 100% commissions. Or maybe you’re looking at a “cash gifting program”. Let’s be serious for a minute: can you tell me that cash exchanging hands with no product involved is a true business? Okay then, moving on… Make sure that the product is in demand. What percentage of people use it? Is there even a small niche market for that home based business?
3.) Mentorship. For instance, my team has some tremendous online marketing training available. But without personal coaching, you’re dead in the water. Make sure that your sponsor has the EXPERIENCE and the TIME available to help YOU get your business off the ground.

The MLM Mastermind System 2.0 Review
Posted by: | CommentsBuckle your seat belts, because you’re in for one HELL of a ride…
Jonathan Budd has done it again. FINALLY, new online network marketers don’t have to deal with the CRAP I had to deal with when trying to monetize their sales funnel.
Picture this… this is how you want the “flow” of your sales funnel to go…
1.) Person visits your site and enters their info into a form to get more info, a report, a newsletter, etc…
2.) Now that person is on your LIST (remember that ‘L’ word!.. LIST) and you can market to them until the end of time.
3.) They are now brought through a sales process where they’re given the opportunity to purchase a low-cost but HIGH VALUE product or service. From there, over time as they get more and more value from your email messages, many of those people will upgrade to more products and services… or other products are services that will compliment the others, or what have you…
4.) Some of those people will probably even join your business (don’t count on a bunch, but SOME WILL!!)
Point being, this allows you to make tons of money off the people that DON’T even get in your business. Now you’re not digging a hole of debts to pay for your marketing… You’re paying for it in REAL TIME, getting cash as you need it to reinvest in your marketing and business building expenses…

Ambit Energy Scam – Is This New MLM Too Good To Be True?
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve been in the network marketing industry for about 5 years now. I’ve seen some companies come and go, and I’ve seen their reps jump from company to company in hopes of finding the “next big thing”. Is Ambit Energy it? Is Ambit Energy a scam, or is it the real deal?
Well, for me at least, I’m going to pass. I’ve met alot of people and developed a nice rolodex (especially in the last year or so) in this industry. And after this company launched, I got about 20 calls from people asking me to join their downline. Some calls were from people that knew of my online mlm lead generation system. Some were even people that were in my downline before and QUIT! I even had someone that I showed mlm to my first month in the industry, and all they could say was “oh, that’s a pyramid…” and BAM!!! Five years later and they want me in their downline.
Well, I’m a firm believer in mentorship and giving to people straight. Ambit is very similar to ACN (communications mlm) in that you make up to a few hundred dollars when someone signs up, but you make virtually NOTHING on the back end. According to their website, it’s about $0.25 to $1.00 per customer per month. I’d need to have 10,000 customers in my business just to be able to make a six figure income… BLAH!
Ambit reps: you can sell the “residual income” pitch to your prospects, but be realistic with them. Don’t tell them they’ll get rich off of the residuals. Make sure they understand that they’ll need to sponsor over a dozen people per month to make a living! And then have to sponsor a small country to make a living off of the residuals. Make sense?
This is why many people in mlm have turned to “GPT” which stands for Get Paid Today. And there’s dozens of other companies that you can make MORE than a few hundred dollars when you signup someone.
Ambit Energy is NOT a scam… but there are sure alot better network marketing companies to team up with.
That’s my 2 cents.
