Genewize or Gensona - What are the differences? Real or Scam?

Filed under: General Business, News/PR, Adam Holland, Network Marketing — Adam Holland @ 7:02 pm

So I see alot of people jumping on the boat to become reps with Genewize, a new network marketing company.  When I went to see what it was about, this was the info I gathered…

It’s about taking a test that gathers DNA info and then recommending nutritional supplements based on the results.

Good idea I guess, because your DNA does not change… but this seemed strangely familiar when I read it.

It was actually EXACTLY the same damn thing Quixtar / Amway came out with about 2 years ago!

Here’s 2 links to see what I mean:

Gensona Heart Health Genetic Test

Gensona  General Nutrition Generic Test

You’d have to take BOTH of these tests, a nutritional/lifestyle questionaire, and then you’d get recommendations of supplements from Nutrilite (Amway’s nutritional line that’s been around over 50+ years I believe)…

Considering both comp plans, pretty much anything beats out Amway…  If you’re an Amway IBO reading this, sorry to tell ya…  I’m not going to promote the Genewize opportunity, but the compensation plan I know is a binary or modified binary with a MUCH better direct commission payout.

And I’m sure the monthly supplements you’ll want to take are much better priced too.

So why did I write this post if I’m not actively building Amway/Quixtar OR Genewize?  I guess it’s probably because every single ad I see only is about how Genewize is ‘a totally new and revolutionary product’ and that ‘nothing has been done like this before’… HA.  Amway did it over 2 years ago…  Just nobody heard about it because, well, that’s Amway!  Amway reps just can’t market or retail any products because they’re all so darn overpriced.

And according to Ty Tribble on the MLM Blog website, the fastest growing NM companies are ones with one product or one category of products (i.e. - health, skin care, etc).  Having a dedicated company with dedicated reps to get this product into peoples hands will probably be better for both the reps and the consumer.

Good luck Genewize!

  1. You’d have to take BOTH of these tests - you are charging $298.95 for these tests. Yeah let me waste that much money or I could go to www.mygenewize.com/KristenL spend $249 get the test and a month worth of vitamins. Let me think which to choose … umm … Genewize

  2. I 100% agree w/ you Kristen. This is quite honestly one of the many reasons why I don’t build that other business anymore.. Overpriced products and a crap comp plan.

    Good luck w/ Genewize!
(and, yes, I’ll keep your affiliate link on my site ;o)
