Building on a Budget
Posted by: | CommentsMike Dillard (the mastermind behind Magnetic Sponsoring and MLM Traffic Formula) is launching a new program called Building on a Budget. If you’re wondering how you can develop a consistent 10-50 leads per day for little to NO cost, you need to check it out. It’s a measly $50… which is a small investment with a HUGE return…
What most newbies do when they start a business is burn up a list of friends and family, and when that doesn’t work they start buying leads. $200 here, $500 there… and before they know it, they have little to no business and they’re broke.
This is NOT the mentality of a business owner… this is what we call a “lottery mentality”. Some people just want to be able to put $200 in a slot machine and have 200 new distributors pop out the front… And, unfortunately, that’s all that some people think that they need to do to build a business… SORRY! WRONG!
When you don’t have alot of money when you’re just starting out, you should NOT spend it on leads. You should spend it on DEVELOPING YOUR OWN SKILLS… skills that will produce FREE leads for you like clockwork…
So, if you don’t know how to do this yet… visit Building on a Budget now and start building those skills!
Saying Goodbye to an Ol’ Friend
Posted by: | CommentsWell, as much of a “friend” a computer could be at least…
I graduated from RPI in 2004 with a degree in Electrical Engineering… pointless considering I may never do anything with my degree. But during my sophomore year I swapped out my laptop for a newer model… Now that laptop is 6 years old, and it finally bit the dust this past week.
I had been using this laptop to do ALOT of my marketing… it still ran programs pretty well, so I could still submit articles, do some myspace marketing, use my Easy Ad Poster program for craigslist, and a bunch of other useful stuff… all while working on my newer laptop.
Having 2 laptops was SUCH a convenience too. If my wife needed the newer one for banking, checking email, or just playing Hearts… I could stay productive on the old one… Not any longer!
Since the computer crashed, I had to get full access to 3 programs that I had downloaded recently… the registry files were gone (on the old comp) so i had no way to really transfer everything to the newer computer. Luckily, all 3 of the software companies were VERY understanding about the crash and GAVE ME THE REGISTRATION CODES so I could re-install my software!!! WOOHOO!! Talk about dodging a huge bullet…
So, I dedicate this post to my old RPI laptop… ;o)
Web Traffic from Off-line Sources…
Posted by: | CommentsYes, some people actually still read newspapers and magazines… they don’t get ALL of their info from the internet…
I just didn’t think that I’d be able to drive traffic to my websites using newspapers… it’s seemed like something that people just tried back in the late 90’s… when all of the tech start-ups went online and then came crashing down because they just didn’t understand marketing.
Then, after doing some research, I found out just how many people actually WILL see your ad (that includes your website URL) and will actually type that into their browsers to check your site out… Check this out…
Here’s some stats that you need to consider…
Getting ads placed in papers with a total circulation of over 2.3 million… Yea, 2.3 million! … is only $210… yup, dirt cheap, Read More→
Sir Spamalot – I HATE SPAM MAIL!
Posted by: | CommentsOk, the good news is I’m getting some good traffic from social networking sites like MySpace and Youtube… but the problem is that I post my email on sites like Magnetic Sponsoring so some nerd can just create a bot to swipe it up…
I’m now getting almost as much spam in my inbox than I am actual email from my partners and prospects! Doh!
I think it’s time to implement some spamware… Mr. Webmaster, if you’re reading this — expect a phone call!! ;o)
The REAL Reason Why the Giants Won…
Posted by: | CommentsIt takes more than talent to win the biggest game of the year…
Living in NY and following the Giants through out the season (their training camp is even in Albany
) I got to see the events unfold 1 week at a time…
The REAL reason the Giants won isn’t just because they decided to pull together and work as a team… it wasn’t just their talent or a little luck…
Like Strahan said in the post-game, it’s all about confidence… <———
The week that the team stopped talking about how it was this persons fault or that person’s… if Coughlin was a good enough coach, and if Eli had a leadership problem…
The moment that they began to UPLIFT and ENCOURAGE each other is the REAL moment they became Champions… When they began to SPEAK the right words… THAT is when things started to come together…
They fed off of each other’s enthusiasm and confidence, and that confidence carried them through the biggest games of their lives…
REMEMBER TO UPLIFT AND ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER!
IT DOESN’T MATTER IF IT’S IN SPORTS, IN BUSINESS, IN RELATIONSHIPS!!
YOU CAN CREATE THAT MOMENTUM OF POSITIVITY IN YOUR OWN LIFE BY ENCOURAGING OTHERS!
DON’T FORGET TO PAY IT FORWARD!!!
