Okay, I know.. I know.. I mean do we REALLY need another ‘Year in Review’ blog? Well, yes, darn it! (hehehe) It’s CRUCIAL that you’re checking your results, and checking them not just at the end of the year but in steady intervals. I’m constantly checking my stats on my web traffic, what my CTR is on my ads, and what my sales conversions are.
2007 was a HUGE year for me. But I’m really just getting started. Sure, my income more than DOUBLED in one year, but that’s not why I’m excited. I’m excited because this is just the launch pad for massive growth (personally and in business). The potential for creating explosive wealth online has NEVER been greater. The leverage that one person can have using the right technology and marketing systems is extraordinary.
If you STILL haven’t figured out how you’re going to create financial freedom and peace of mind yet, you really need to investigate this marketing system:
InnerCircleWealthMasters.com

I was looking in to expanding my advertising with the Reverse Funnel System when my mentor suggested researching some Coop advertising that is available. If you are unfamiliar with RFS, its a simple system that allows the average person to be able to market a business opportunity that does all of the selling, closing, following-up, etc all by itself. All you need to do is learn how to drive traffic to the system.
My mentor had collaborated with many of our team’s leaders and put together a Coop advertising package that delivers (more…)
I was rereading The Magic of Thinking Big recently. If you are a business owner, salesperson, or aspiring executive and haven’t read this book, go get a copy asap.
There’s a chapter about overcoming fear by taking action. The quote is, “Action cures fear.” How true it is, as long as it’s the right action.
If you’re afraid of swimming, I don’t think the answer is to just jump in the deep end and ‘figure it out.’ (more…)
When you hear the good ol’ saying, “Attitude is Altitude” or “Attitude is Everything” or any of those clichés, do you really take them seriously? I sure didn’t. Just saying some phrase you’ve heard from some guru didn’t lend me any insight into where my attitude was at.
What made the difference to me was when I realized that I needed to be aware of my attitude at all times. When I got a flat tire, when I pulled a muscle, when I spilled a drink, when anything didn’t go the way I wanted it to… I would throw a temper-tantrum just like a little kid. Maybe not out in the (more…)
For those of you who haven’t seen the video, look it up on YouTube. When asked: “Recent polls have shown a fifth of Americans can’t locate the U.S. on a world map. Why do you think this is?”; Miss Teen USA contender Lauren Caitlin Upton (Miss South Carolina) responded…
“I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uhmmm, some people out there in our nation don’t have maps and uh, I believe that our, I, education like such as uh, South Africa, and uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and I (more…)
With so many profitable network marketing businesses that offer very lucrative compensation plans ($1000 commissions and up), it is a very exciting time for this great industry. Many brand new reps are making $5-10K in their first month, and making $20K and MORE per month very soon thereafter. The problem is most of these people weren’t making more than $40-50K per YEAR before they found their riches online… and now they’re unfamiliar with how to spend the new-found wealth.
I thought about this problem after watching a video of a new distributor that had made about $50K in his first 2-3 months with (more…)
In order to really understand how much this meant to me, you have to understand where my mind was at the time of receiving this compliment.
I was working 2 jobs (8am to 10pm) Monday through Friday. At lunch and on breaks I would work on my websites I was getting close to launching. In fact, I would time everything PERFECTLY every single day. As soon as it was noon, I’d put some lunch in the microwave and while it was cooking I’d take my bathroom break. On my way out of the restroom, I’d grab the hot lunch, head back to my desk, and diligently start typing out text content that I was going to put on my website.
I’d do this again at 5pm with dinner. I started my second job at 6pm, and during lulls in the evening I’d start typing an email to (more…)
I recently saw a quote from someone’s (let’s say ‘social network site profile’) that said: “Years Teach Us More Than Books.”
I was totally flabbergasted (I never get into a situation to be able to use that word, so I just HAD to). How naïve can you really be? Isn’t the reason we read books to be able to educate ourselves so we DON’T have to go through the same trials and tribulations that someone else had to go through?
I mean, don’t the highest military leaders in our country study war tactics and strategies so that when they get into battle they are prepared? They don’t just ship out troops and say “We’ll just adjust our strategy after we see how these guys do.”
Don’t the NFL football coaches study play books and video tapes so that they are prepared for their opposition that coming (more…)
I love playing video games. (Yep, totally nerd talking here, haha.) The thought of running home after work to get online and start playing got me excited in so many ways. I got so excited about the creativity behind customizing my own online persona. I loved the camaraderie between teammates and how we could strategize about what our next move would be. How to defeat someone with a particular move or combination of moves… How soon I could “rank up” my character… There were so many addictive elements to the games I was playing, I soon didn’t realize that I was spending 20+ hours per week staring at the TV with my wireless controller in my hands.
Millions of people log on to play online games every week. I couldn’t help but wonder ‘what if all of these people gave up even 1 day of playing towards something actually productive, what could we all do?’
After realizing just how much time I was wasting playing video games, I started to reevaluate my schedule as a whole. I put (more…)
I wanted to touch on a topic that sooo many people that have build successful online (and offline) businesses usually negate to talk about. When reading a biography or a “my story” page about a professional blogger, real estate professional, or any work-at-home professional they mention the countless hours they spent in their downtime to startup their company.
Business owners in the early stages will work nights and weekends (and any other times around their fulltime job) to just find one more piece of the puzzle. To just put together one more item, or educate themselves on cutting-edge technology, or to learn people skills, or to learn the newest marketing tactics. You get the picture.
Many entrepreneurs got started in their endeavor on a part-time basis while still working a fulltime job. One thing that I have (more…)
